The following guild rules may at first glance seem quite stern and restrictive, we are in fact a very social guild that enjoys a little raiding on the side. The only thing we expect of our members is that they are friendly and follow the rules. In return you can expect to be able to play the game in a relaxed and friendly environment. If you require help or advice and dont want to ask in /guild then please /w an officer, co-gm or gm and we will help if we can.
1. You should respect your fellow members and all players outside of the guild. any action that is liable to bring the guild into disrepute will not be tolerated.
2. Discrimination, bullying, harassment or abuse of other players will not be tolerated. Do not use derogatory or racist terms. We do not tolerate racial epithets, defamation of sexual preference, gender, religious beliefs or discrimination of any sort.
3. Members wishing to participate in runs with the guild are expected to have a basic knowledge of how to play their character and to be gemmed/reforged accordingly. Help will be given to anyone that requests it.
4. No begging, You're welcome to ask nicely for any sort of help you require, but do not beg or spam any chat with requests. If you are told "no" then accept that and move on.
5. Invites to any event should not be regarded as guaranteed for any member. In addition you may be asked to switch to another role if required and if you have already got experience of that role. These requests if not complied with may mean that any invite to an event and/or any future event is withdrawn.
6. If you have signed up for a guild event try to be online on time. Remember other players have to wait for you. If you are liable to be late then please advise someone of this. If you lose a group spot/role because you are late then you have no comeback.
7. No excessive swearing. Recognize that you are in a public space and that repeated swearing isn't necessary to get your point across. Also try to keep it clean in any public chat channels, whilst we are an adult guild primarily, there may be occasions when minors are invited to the guild and may be online.
8. We operate on a three strikes policy. You'll get two warnings and then you will get no warning and be expelled. We reserve the right to immediately expel a member for taking extreme actions against the spirit of our values and regulations. Only Co-Gm's and the Gm can remove players from the guild, however, official warnings can be issued by members who are officer rank and above.
9. Members who are not online for three months will be demoted to inactive rank and members who are inactive rank for six months will be removed from the guild. This will be administered by co-gm rank and above. Special circumstances may be taken into account, please inform an officer or co-gm if you are planning on taking an extended break from the game.
10. Guild ranks are as follows:
Recruit: New member to the guild.
Member: People that have spent a suitable amount of time in the guild and who an officer rank or above deem to be a suitable match for our guild.
Veteran: Members who have spent an extended period of time in the guild and who have shown a willingness to help the guild and other guild members on a regular basis.
Officer: Active members who may have a specific task or tasks assigned to them i.e. Banker, website manager, event organiser etc. An Officer will have shown a willingness to put in extra effort to help the guild and its members. An Officer will promote our guilds standards at all times and will ensure that the guild rules are adhered to and will keep the gm ranks informed of any rule infractions and of any official warnings issued.
Co-Gm: Acts in direct consultation with the Gm and other Co-Gm's, works to provide leadership and promote community development. This rank will only be granted in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Gm.
Gm: Is the highest position of authority in the guild. The Gm's role, alongside any Co-Gm's is to administer all aspects of the guild. They are responsible for maintaining the overall vision and purpose of the guild, and ensuring that the guild moves in the appropriate direction towards fulfilling those goals.
* These rules may be changed at anytime but notice of the change must be given * Not knowing the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
